Product Overview
India accounts for over 30% of global chilli exports, and Amrudhya Harvests specializes in two of the most internationally recognized varieties: Guntur Sannam (S4) from Andhra Pradesh - prized for its high pungency, deep red color (ASTA color value 80–100 units), and strong aroma - and Byadagi from Karnataka, which offers a deep crimson color with mild heat, ideal for color-forward applications. Our whole dried red chillies are harvested at peak maturity and sun-dried to achieve 10–12% moisture content. They are hand-sorted and machine-cleaned to remove stems, seeds (on request), and foreign matter. Export grades include Stemless (SL), Stem-on (SO), and De-Seeded (DS) to buyer specification. Major markets include Southeast Asia (food manufacturing), Middle East (spice blending), the USA (hot sauce and spice brands), and Spain (pimentón producers). Aflatoxin testing (max 5 ppb), pesticide residue screening to EU MRL standards, and color value measurement by ASTA method can be arranged.
